At Painted Boat Resort, Spa and Marina, we are committed to providing our guests with an amazing and enjoyable experience while maintaining our continued high standard of safety precautions for Covid-19 and other air born viruses.

Currently Monkey Pox is on the rise in our local communities, and we are continuing with our Covid-19 policies, that were originally instigated in March of 2020.More information can be found in the links below.

The symptoms of Monkeypox are similar to, but milder than, Smallpox.Monkey Pox begins with a fever, headache, muscle aches, and exhaustion. The main difference between symptoms of Smallpox and Monkeypox is that Monkeypox causes Lymph Nodes to swell, while Smallpox does not.

Monkeypox is transmitted to humans through close contact with an infected person or animal, or material contaminated with the virus.Monkeypox virus is transmitted from one person to another by close contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets and contaminated materials such as bedding.

Due to the similarity of transmission between Smallpox and Covid-19, we are continuing to maintain stringent COVID-19 policies. This includes, but is not limited to, social distancing, frequent hand washing, staying at home when sick, and wearing a mask (optional).

We are maintaining our high standard of cleaning policies.Villas are cleaned with industrial grade cleaners and FOGGED at checkout. We are currently not providing daily housekeeping service to our guests. Our housekeeping staff and Spa attendants are required to use disposable gloves when handling dirty linens.Diligent cleaning practices of all Villa’s, Front Desk/Lobby, Lagoon Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Room and Spa Garden, are being maintained at a high standard.

Guests who cancel any reservation for illness will be exempt from a cancellation fee. This includes our Resort, Spa, and Lagoon Restaurant.Guests with knowledge of personal lesions are not permitted to use our Spa.

By maintaining our awareness and respect for each other and our guests, we can continue to provide an enjoyable and safe place for us to work and enjoy.

Peace and Blessings
